Taking it Before the Courts

The Altea branch of the Socialist Party stated yesterday that it had presented a case before the anticorruption prosecutor over the adjudication of the works for the Sports pavilion of the municipality that is scheduled to play host to the King’s Cup handball contests in March next year. According to the complaint, the Town Council, which is ruled by a majority of the Partido Popular, made an arbitrary contract for the installation with the UTE Sav/Vialta/Valfrica company through ‘ a procedure negotiated without the usual putting out to contract when three other companies were also interested’.
