Better than Ever

The investment policy of the Bancaja bank have now placed it on a par with the leading banks in Spain – La Caixa and Caja Madrid – as the portfolio now has a value of more than 2,406 million Euros. After selling its shares in Metrovacesa last December, the bank, under the directorship of Jose Luis Olivas, has decided to concentrate its investments in a limited number of companies, with the profits from the sale of the shares being used for an expansion programme. Currently the bank has international branches in Miami, Shanghai, London, Lisbon, Milan, Paris, Munich and Warsaw with plans to open a branch this year in Mexico.
