Getting Better

The excellent relationship between the two major savings banks of the Community – CAM and Bancaja – went up a notch yesterday after Bancaja opened two new offices in Alicante Province, the domain of the CAM. The new offices in Altea and Ibi mean that in effect Bancaja has 112 operational units in Alicante Province, and since 2002, the bank has increased it presence in the province by 65%. According to Bancaja, one of the main reasons for setting up these new branches was to attract business from foreigners who settle in these areas.
