Hello, my name is Derek and on behalf of my wife Abbey and myself, I'd like to wish you a warm welcome to the New Horizons School of Microlighting, based in the region of Valencia, Spain.

After a successful start to our microlighting school in the UK, it became obvious that the most frustrating part of teaching (and learning) to fly in the UK was our wonderful British weather. So, we decided to look overseas for a suitable site where the weather is more favourable - and predictable. We fell in love with Benicolet, a small village surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery in the la Safor region, located only 16km from the main coastal town of Gandia and miles and miles of warm sandy beaches.

Here we operate from a fully licensed microlight airfield located just behind the village, with hangarage, an on site cafe bar, showers and toilets.

We believe, we have the best of both worlds. For those who want purely to fly, our rental villa is only 150 metres from the airfield, and for those who want to make it more of a family holiday, there are numerous things to do in and around the area, including sunbathing on the spotlessly clean beaches of Gandia and surrounding area, only a half hour drive away. If you are looking for excellent microlight tuition and a holiday to remember, this really is the place!!!
