Jose Luis Martinez, the President of the Musical Promoters Association, has revealed that the concert scheduled by Prince in Benidorm was never the subject of a contract, and that the announcement of the concert without the necessary paperwork could constitute a fraud. Mr Martinez also revealed and confirmed that Prince envisaged staging a concert in London on the same day as he was supposed to perform in the holiday town. He added that the appearance in Benidorm had never been negotiated at all with the artist. Tickets were due to go on sale later today.
Prince and the New Power Generation will be performing in concert in Benidorm on Saturday 25 August 2007.
They will be performing tracks from the new album "3121" at the Foietes Stadium in Benidorm. This concert is he only one scheduled for Spain.
Tickets are due to go on sale on Tuesday 12th June, but be quick, his London tickets went like hotcakes! Try the usual ticket vendors eg ticktackticket etc.
It now appears that the concert in Benidorm of the artist known as Prince that was originally set for August 25 has now become uncertain. Local promoter Dux Music admitted that tickets were on sale in London for a concert to take place there on the same day as the Benidorm appearance. According to insiders, the best that can now be expected is a concert on September 25 in Benidorm, but that is by no means certain.
