The 65th Cycle Tour of the Region of Valencia will take place between the 27th February and the 3rd March with a total of 774 kilometres spread over five stages.

The starting and finishing point of the first stage is in Alzira, the second stage starts and finishes in Calpe, the third stage begins and ends in Vila-real, the fourth stage, which is the main stage, goes from Albaida to 1st category Alto del Campello situated in the municipal district of Vallada and the fifth and last stage has its starting and finishing point in Valencia.

In this year's Region of Valencia Cycle Tour a total of 18 teams will take part and will include the participation of some 160 racing cyclists, amongst those to be highlighted are the winner and Sub-Champion of the last Vuelta Ciclista a España (Tour of Spain) and the Sub-Champion of the last Giro d'Italia (Tour of Italy).

The racing cyclists will have to ascend a total of 13 mountain passes amongst which there are 10 3rd category ones and 3 1st category ones.
