Feria Medieval Rotova

Rotova hosts the Food and Tourism la Safor-Vall d'Albaida Fair on 21 and 22 February 2009.

Rótova celebrates its traditional Fiesta del Porrat en honor a Sant Macià. The origins of this festivity go back to the 18th century, when the friars at the Sant Jeroni de Cotalba convent used set up a market devoted to the exchange of horses and cattle in an event attended by peasants from the surrounding villages, to celebrate the festivity of Sant Macià.

Pastries, honey and soups are some of the various delicacies on offer from the 30 food stands showcasing their artisan products. Also there will be demonstrations, dancing, a disco and paintballing - something for everyone.
