Tennis courts, fronton courts ( a bit like squash) and basketball are available free of charge 2 minutes walk from villa.

The villa is situated 1 km. from the typical Spanish village of Naquera, which has all amenities: banks, shops, bars, restaurants, hairdresser. There are many pleasant walks close to the villa which is at the foot of the Sierra Calderona.

By car Valencia airport is 20 minutes away,

Valencia City 25 minutes away,

sandy beaches are 25 minutes away,

El Escorpion golf course 20 minutes, Sagunto with its Roman Amphitheatre, 30 minutes.

A 10 minute drive will take you to the small town of Betera where you can park, free of charge, and catch the metro train into Valencia city centre (2 euros return fare) which saves the hassle of inner city parking.

The resident owners, a Spanish/English couple are retired Bournemouth hoteliers (and the owners of two very friendly dogs) who offer the facility of preparing special dinners should they be required.

Naquera is not the place for you if seeking English fare in an English speaking environment. However, if you are interested in visiting the 'real' Spain this is just the place for you. A tranquil setting near to all amenities.
