After a nail biting last game of the season, Levante UD managed a 1-0 away win at Lleida to gain promotion back into La Liga and back amongst the might of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and, of course, the successful city rivals Valencia CF.
Having spent most of the season on the perimeters of the promotion places, Levante UD managed to climb into third place and gain promotion after a string of narrow victories.
The fans of Levante UD have been lining the streets of Valencia singing their hearts out, waving their flags high and proud and sounding their horns in jubilation as they now know their team is back amongst the big boys of Spanish football.
Next season Levante UD will need all the help and support they can get to remain in La Liga. Please come along and offer your support to Levante UD, where you can purchase tickets on the day from the ticket office outside the stadium, but arrive within in plenty of time to avoid dissapointment.
Levante UD has a compact but atmospheric stadium of approximately 25,000, and is located in the north of the city number 44 Calle De San Vicente de Paul, with Machado the nearest metro station, located on the Red line number 3.
